People at BNC

Katherine Boyk returns at Camp Leader for 2017!

We’re lucky to have Katherine return to co-lead camps this summer! After her Big Sky Watershed work in Bozeman, with local watershed group Greater Gallatin Watershed Council, she took her love of teaching and working with kids to the afterschool program at Hyalite Elementary School, here in Bozeman. When she is not exploring Bohart Ranch with BNC, she works as a leader with another summer program as well. Katherine is expert at spotting and identifying the feathered citizens of the sky, and brings her passion for birds and the natural world to BNC camps.

About Katherine
I have been an AmeriCorps member with the Greater Gallatin Watershed Council, where I did work including classroom education, field research, and communications. I graduated from Northland College, on the shore of Lake Superior in Wisconsin, in 2013 with degrees in Environmental Studies and Writing. I’m enjoying living in Bozeman and the chance to hike, trail run, bird, and cross-country ski in and around the Gallatin Valley!
